Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to share that the official website for the ICED26 Conference is now live: https://iced26.es.
The conference will take place from June 24–26, 2026, in Salamanca, Spain, hosted by the Spanish Network of University Teaching (REDU) and the University of Salamanca. The theme of the conference is: “Agency and Academic Development”. There will also be opportunities to attend key sessions and present papers online, with oral presentations welcomed in English, Spanish, and French.
The conference will explore academic development through the lens of agency: how university teachers and students, teams, and institutions act with purpose to shape and improve academic development and educational practices in higher education. From transforming curricula and institutional cultures to improving and evaluating professional learning, we welcome contributions that examine agency as a dynamic force in advancing educational quality and equity in higher education.

The Call for Papers is ready and remains open until the 30th of November. We encourage submissions including research papers and practice-based contributions, across six different formats: symposia, workshops, papers, posters, ICED-Talks and collaborative spaces. Submission details, conference subthemes and review criteria can be found on the conference website.
For any inquiries or assistance, feel free to reach out to the conference team at: info@iced26.es
